The drive to Arona along Lake Maggiore

I am now in process of driving to Arona Italy along the coastline of Lake Maggiore.

I took my last bike ride around Locarno to sa goodbye to the beautiful surrounding and promised to return.
 

 Heading to Arona

 Stopped for fruit here.

 Many tight and narrow winding roads along the Maggiore coast.

 I stopped for pizza in Verbania Italy along the way.

 Warm enough to swim here.

 Coming into the area of Arona, I saw this giant statue.

 A giant statue of yet another Italian saint, San Carlo.

My they do carry on.

 Shabby hotel room, I just had to get out of there the next morning. Ugh.

Heading to Monza ASAP.
