Sunday in Bolzano and a cable car trip 30.11.14

This morning I decided to go on the cable car up the mountain to the village of Renon (Ritten in German) in South Tyrol in the Dolomiti Italian Alps. As I got out from the cable car and ventured into the village, I spotted a Llama pasture.

In the after noon I went to the city centre of Bolzano and made my rounds of the Xmas village set up.

Then I skyped Mr. Einstein in New York.

Around the corner from my hotel in Bolzano Italy.

The cable car station that takes people up to the high Alps village of Renon.

The Dolomiti Alps. That is where Dolomite comes from, a great stomach reliever....that I really need for my stomach now.

Alpine hairpin turns on a mountain road. Reminds me of the Goldfinger scene.

At the top of the cable car ride is the village of Renon.

A village Llama pasture, there are many Llama farms in the Alps.

This guy is all wet from dumping his head in the water trof.

 My hotel.

The old Italian hotel where I am staying.

A quick Gelato before I go back to the hotel.

My favourite Italian licorice flavoured tooth paste.

The hotel restaurant, the food is excellent here.

Finally after a fortnight, I get to see my boss, Mr. Einstein. Who as I have been told ate a lot of turkey and steak.

Now I really miss that little bloke.

Night all,

David
