Friday 11 July 2014, I spent most of my day in Notting Hill and Portabello Road where all of the bit and bobs and odds and sods shops are. Also I went to the Marble Arch area and High Holborn to get a new camera strap.

See the piccies:

A custom tailor shop in Lancaster Gate.

More of the Lancaster gate area.

Lancaster Gate entrance into Hyde Park.

Lancaster Gate was named in honour of Queen Victoria, the Duchess of Lancaster.

A LP to digital MP3 converter. I didn't know this was available.

A Bulgarian food shop in Queensway.

The new model of the London Double Decker Bus.

 In my room.

The GPO (Government Post Office) Tower.

 An art gallery in Holborn.

The camera shop I went to.

 A Notting Hill tea shack.

I bought one of these bubble teas, I thought it was going to be a fizzy drink, but the bubbles are solid made of huge Tapioca spheres. Terrible. 3 pounds 45 p for this shit. Never again.

 George Orwell's old digs.

 Portabello Road do dah shops.

Yet another street singer. It reminded me of what Britney Spears once said of her career: "I'm going to start out somewhere small lik London or even England." LOL A real female Zoolander.

The rise of the Socialists. Horray!

Cheers all,

David
