My business partners and I signed a joint partnership agreement with a British high tech company, RF Solutions, Ltd., in Burgess Hill. The new partnership and product line of battery-less and wireless remote control industrial switching systems, now called RF ENIGMA, will be sold worldwide through their sales and distribution network.
It took 2 of the 3 years since we started the company to reach this goal of successful goals, much to fortune and future.
I left Brighton yesterday 26 June and took the train from Brighton to Dover and then the ferry ship to Calais France where I rented a car and drove 9.5 hours to Strasbourg France, near the German border to rest over the weekend before driving on Monday to Como Italy to joint close on a licencing deal with an Italian switch manufacturer to make a special line of limit and foot switches using the combined technologies of RF Solutions and ISM ENIGMA.
Here are some photos I took around Strasbourg today.
It doesn't take long for me to convert my hotel
rooms into that lived-in/trashed-in look.
The Citreon car I rented.
The view from my hotel room, overlooking
the cathedral.
I say there, Dr. Magneto here!
A beautiful old period 4 star hotel.
Many canals here like in Venice.
Strasbourg is also called 'Little Paris.'
The Gendarmierie at work, guarding against
possible terrorists.
I luv ducks.
Being that Strasbourg is near rhe German border,
the influence of Germany is seen in some of their buildings.
One can imagine that they were the the first to be taken over by the Nazis during WWII.
Mummzy duck and her brood, doin' a daily
constitutional.
The wide boulevards do remind me of Paris.
I saw this homeless gent and stopped to chat with him. I asked if I could take his photo and gave him a few Euros to help out. He said his name was Saul.
A POP Art store I discovered.
I tried to get a Gelato here but the queue was at least half an hour wait, so I passed.
Reminds me of the old days. LOL :/
This faire was to promote and get donations
to restore the old cathedral. All of these artists/scultpures are involved in doing this. They gave demos on the actual stone work, wood work, and metal work they do for this purpose.
Quite interesting and exciting.
Supposed to be the largest coffee pot in the world.
I'm tired from walking 4 miles today. Still need more rest from that long 9.5 hour drive yesterday.
More photos on the morrow.
Cheers,
David
