Another day in Lugano CH

What a beautiful sunny day in Lugano today. The temperature was around 55 degrees F. So I walked around in the morning and arrived back at the hotel in late afternoon. I will leave tomorrow and head East through the Swiss and Italian Alps to Austria by next week.

Enjoy the photos, I had so much fun taking them and meeting some of the very nice people of Lugano (they're all nice).

 Mt. Ticino

When I first saw this I wondered what it was then I read in Italian
that it is for dog poop.
You get the plastic bags here then toss them in the poop bin stations
 A real dog lover.

My room on the second floor, or secondo piano in Italian

The streets (vias) are steep here in Lugano, not a fat person in sight
A free newspaper called venti minuti (20 minutes)

Someone dropped their shopping list on the street

The articles is all about graffiti in Lugano
 Hash pipes
I couldn't find a cover for my British mobile phone
The old WW II London saying to keep spirits up during the bombings

So I'm takin' a shot of this swan when I hear this loud noise
I look up and I see a Xmas tree flating in mid air

Being lowered by this heliocopter in the town square

The beautiful glacier lake Lago Lugano (Lake Lugano)

That's a Maserati going by, many of them here
 The Lugano Post Office
My favourite little restaurant and pizzeria

A Swiss Chocolatier, a chocolate shoppe mind boggling and super expensive and super good

White chocolate with pistachios and almonds, YUM!

My afternoon dessert, vermicelli con pana
The book I'm trying to finish reading

 Bus depot

One of the many town public drinking fountains
 Manor department store

The town square tree that was lowered today and will be decorated tomorrow
I don't know what this is, but it was on the other side of the lake

Well I say good night and I will leave Lugano tomorrow mid morning

Ciao,

David
