A Sunday in Abbeville France 15.12.13

Abbeville along the River Somme, was heavily bombed during the Normandy Invasion, so there is a lot of history of both WWI and WWII here.

I will be heading back to London tomorrow and spent my last day taking photos and then spending a delightful time in the evening with the family that owns the chateau I am staying at. They are a wonderful lovely French family and I know I will be back in Abbeville some day to spend time with them. And of course I made instant friends, thanks to some Cheddar cheese, with their dog U2 (named after the band).

 This is Mr. U2, a gourmet of fine French food of any kind and also Gateaus galore. Mon ami pour la vie! (My friend for life)
