Second day in Interlaken

I had a great sleep, about 6.5 hours and feel brilliant. When I woke up and looked out of the terrace window it was snowing and it still is (I am writing this at 1:45 PM EU time (6 hours difference with NY).

So after breakfast I went out and did a photo walk.

It was too blinding of a storm for me to travel up to the peak of the highest point at 11,330 feet called Jungfrau (young lady in German). Tomorrow I will try again to take the train and then cable cars up to Jungfrau.

So today I am confined to the village of Interlaken, not a bad place to hang out.

The Photos:

My hotel room after I did a number on it.

Getting the weather in the UK on BBC.

Front window looking down on the high street.

My snow covered car, the second from the front.

Me using the hotel red brolly to impede the snow falling on me.

 The old red box.

They have a HOOTERS in Interlaken, how retro. :)

 A yellow rose in Interlaken.

The cleaning lady is knocking me up, so I'll be back later.
