Today: Upthe mountain and down again in one fell swoop.

Even though I took the train up the mountain going to Jungfrau peak, I got off at Kleine Scheidegg peak, and it was 98% white out there, so it was not worth the extras 2 hour train ride up to Jungfrau...it will have to wait for my spring trip there in late April or May.

It was obviously Brrrr cold and windy at Kleine Scheidegg this morning. I had a lunch at one of the few restaurants on this popular ski resort. The mountain trains are fantastic and you can set your watch to their schedules.

So mates, here are the photos of the day (POD).

I left this morning and walked 500 metres to the
Interlaken Ost train station.

I had to explain all to Monty and Moo Moo.

Then they wanted me to take separate photos of them. Demanding gents they.

As I was getting ready I heard clacking and saw these horse riders clakcing down the high street.

 Windows with stuff in them.

 Interlaken Ost station.

 Here we go!

There were hundreds of Chinese tourists on the trains. A 10 to 1 ration at least.

For the trains going up and down these steep mountains, regular tracks would never do; they have to have a middle section of geared teeth to hold the train on the tracks or else they would never get up the mountain and if they did going down would turn the train into one HUGE snow ball full of dying screaming passengers.

These little naughty Swiss girls were so loud and annoying. Their father ignored it all.

 A Tee Pee Pub.

Inside the Tee Pee. Where the was no place to pee pee.

 Coming down the mountain.

Well the weekend is over and early tomorrow I will do a 10 hour drive to Le Mans France, leaving the Swiss Alps and then going through the French Alps.
I'm a tad tired from the thin air in the mountains and of course all of this travel.

I miss my Mr. Einstein. :(

Cheers all,

David
