From Wien 2 Buda-Pest 2 tired 2 move.
Me and all my junk left Vienna 10:30 AM and headed for Buda-Pest Hungary. Traveling on the A4/E60 main dual carriageway I encountered some light snow and then rain, no worries. I got to Buda-Pest around 2:45 PM and checked in to the Bohem Art Hotel in the Pest section (the exciting part of Buda-Pest, which is actually two cities separated by the Danube River (no blue, anymore).
See their web site, a cool hotel of sorts:
The price was right as well. I am in a lovely artsty type room, on the 7th floor overlooking the rooftops of Pest. One could walk along the rooftops and do mild trekking from one section to another, easily.......see photos below.
When I arrived I crashed and fell asleep for a few hours, I feel kind of tired and like a cold is coming on, so I will take my cinnamon and raw honey mixture to help alleviate the effects. I am staying in my room tonight since it's cold out in Pest and warm and toasty in me room. Doing ginger/lemon tea, Stollen (German pastry loaf), banana, and some cheese. Oh, did I say dark chocolate infused with blueberries? LOL.
On the morrow I will go out and about taking some shots. I've been here before so I know where to go, I hope the weather is better, but from the looks of Hungarian telly, fat chance of that.
Check out the photags I took today, leaving the hotel in Vienna and heading here.
I was aksed to smile by my friend Dawn,
so here it is. LOL
