Sofia Today 12.12.14

I arrived in Sofia at 8 PM local time on Wednesday after a 10 hours bout with the roads and Carpathian Mountains of Serbia. The Carpathian roads are treacherous to travel on, especially at night; a lot of pot holes as well. So some of the photos taken whilst driving are out of focus and blurry, the camera lens kept fogging up which compromised he integrity of the auto focus circuitry in the camera.

Problems with customs in Bugaria about my car rental papers, but got it all sorted within and hour at the border detainment.

I am surprised at the mild weather, and happy as well.....no snow, just fog here in Sofia so far. I will be working here at the company that is manufacturing one of my inventions. I am in process of working daily to get production underway.
So photos then:

My hotel room, a huge one at only about $100 USD per day.

A demonstration of workers and elderly about poor pubic health and wage issues; a very heated demonstration.

This old lad kept asking me to take a picture of him with his sign.

This hotel lobby and rooms reeks of artwork, which I find delightful.

Sofia for me, still remains mysterious, delightfully dirty, nice people mostly, good Bulgarian food, and pretty ladies as well. :)

Foggy today,

Cheers from Bulgaria,

David
