The weekend compilation in Bulgaria; 20 December 2014

These photos are over the past few days and includes a drive I did to Plovdiv looking for the Roman Empire ruins but got lost and came back to Sofia without finding the old ruins. I now know what went wrong and next weekend I will spend in Plovdiv taking photos of the old Roman Empire ruins. Today Saturday I went out and walked 5 miles all around Sofia and visited a Bulgarian folk art museum in central Sofia. Then took photos of some Russian Orthodox Churches. The church with the blue dome is in Plovdiv that I took the other day, whilst there.

Enjoy these piccies in the meantime.

It makes me so sad to see all of the homeless dogs in Sofia.

My hotel room, with that lived in look.

 Dr. Magneto

Sydney still in Sofia with me.

'avin' a snort of mint tea.

Sydney 'avin' a piss about carrying two bananas
a few steps across the table, lazy bugger.

The intense fog in Sofia the past few days.

It was clear south of Sofia going down to Plovdiv.

A blue domed Russian Orthodox church in Plovdiv Bulgaria.

 Heading back to Sofia.
A 2 hour drive.

 The fog of Sofia again.

 Clear skies on Saturday.

Back again in the shopping mall.

Class in session across the street from my room
in a school, I think a high school.

People bring huge bottles to fill with the mineral water
available for free at these tapped underground springs.

 Me entering the art museum.

 Hello mates. Wink.

This santa was drinking beer in the shopping mall.

This old dude I spotted outside the shopping mall, looks like one
of those old Zoot Suiters of the '40s with that hat.

OK let's see,

Oh yes

Good night,

David
